Notes on expired film
Three rolls of Portra that had been sitting in a drawer since 2014, and what came back from the lab.
Most of these frames were made on a 35mm rangefinder with a single 40mm lens. I meter for the shadows, bracket once, and accept that the sea will rarely hold still for anyone.
Scans are made at home and lightly corrected for dust; colour is left mostly as the stock rendered it.
